Careers with Harvey

Since 1939, the name "Harvey" has been among the most distinguished and respected in New England construction. Industry people have long admired Harvey, not only for the many landmark structures it has built, but also for the work environment it offers its staff.

Relationships have been the key to Harvey's success since its inception. Relationships like that with client Anheuser Busch in Merrimack, N.H., where Harvey has served as construction manager without interruption since 1969, serves as a classic example of Harvey's loyalty and commitment. Architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers are treated as building team partners, inspiring continued service together over the years. And most important to you is Harvey's relationships with its employees.

Harvey both chooses their people carefully and lays out clear expectations to ensure a solid, long-term match. We select those people with the appropriate skills and temperament for the "Harvey culture", and then provide them with all the tools they need to do their jobs at the highest level. Finally, employees receive a compensation and benefits package that is very competitive in the engineering and construction industry.

What is the "Harvey culture"? It's a small company atmosphere that fosters integrity, passion and teamwork. People are valued for their knowledge, skill, experience, dedication and ethics, not just on the job, but in the communities where we live and work. Our interest extends to the environment and to the health and welfare of our neighbors. It's about being productive, hard workers who are also good corporate citizens.

Being a Harvey employee also means enjoying life outside the office. We believe living in an uncrowded, rural state is part of the good life; New Hampshire also offers many of the benefits of a more populated area-excellent schools, good shopping, fine dining and a variety of recreational opportunities such as mountains, lakes, ocean and Boston all within 45 minutes. These are some of the reasons why New Hampshire is a great place to live, raise a family and work.

Just as we're selective about the clients and projects we take on, we're similarly choosy about who we hire to join our team. If integrity, a passion for your work, contributing to a team effort, opportunities for growth and advancement, and living in a relaxed setting are qualities you seek, you may be ready to experience the Harvey difference.
